Analysis of Profit Loss for a Transport Organization as a Result of Repair Work After an Accident Involving Buses with a Carrying Capacity of over 30 Passengers

The main aim of this master's thesis is preparation of economic and technical data for analysis of profit loss for a transport organization as a result of repair work after an accident involving buses with a carrying capacity of over 30 passengers. Master's thesis has three main parts. First part deals with technical data of buses SOR C 9,5, SOR C 10,5 a MAN Lion's Regio C, theirs equipment and service operation. Economic data about these buses are processed and evaluated in second part. Last part is devoted to the creation of methodology for calculation of profit loss of buses after an accident. It concerns about each model and category of buses with a carrying capacity of over 30 passengers as a whole.
The Development of new traffic vehicles in Prague public transport (1918-1939):realised and unrealised projects

Main subject of the thesis is the history of public transport in Prague from 1918 to 1939 with focus on new means of public transport, with information divided into realized (buses and trolley buses) and unrealized projects (the underground). The thesis aims to broaden the current knowledge of inception and development of new means of transport and evaluate their measure of success. The introductory chapter summarizes the preceding development in public transport of Prague. The next is concerned with trams, the most common public transport vehicles of the era. The key part of the thesis consists of chapters focused on buses, trolley buses and proposed underground system. Those chapters deal with the circumstances of the conception of the projects, the causes that led to the projects being realized (or not), and subsequent development and success of those projects based among other sources on statistic data. Public transportation in Prague during socializm

Diploma thesis maps functioning, problems and troubles of public transportation in Prague during socialism in years 1948 till 1974. These years represents the beginning of communism in Czechoslovak Republic and year of putting the Prague metro into operation. The aim of the work was to examine this limited period in terms of public transportation, its impact on urban development, how different types of public transportation interacted and complemented each other, what was its impact on passengers alone and , for example, how metro planning during this period affected the operation of busses, troleybusses and trams. We found that despite the fact that the metro was at first just an unnecessary plan, later the entire system of public transportation began to concentrate and change precisely because of its implementation. Bus Transport in London

This Bachelor's thesis examines regular bus services in London. The theoretical section explains the most important terms related mainly to public transportation, lists various types of routes according to their functions and the most frequently used priority systems favouring public transport vehicles. Among integrated transport system particular attention is paid to the tariff system and check-in system. The aim of the practical part is a comprehensive evaluation of the urban bus services in London, focusing on its current status and on the analysis of projects completed already and on further future development. Bus management system is described as well as bus priority systems and changes in vehicle fleet. Attention is focused among various highlights on the tariff system and on the description and assessment of projects that are related to bus transport. Implemented measures are evaluated according to the development of indicators of reliability.

This thesis deals with international road transport of passengers. It deals with legislation that is associated with this activity and the conditions that are imposed on international road transport operators. In the practical part deals with issues that are current in the field and tries to give instructions to their solution, or eliminate their negative impacts. It focuses primarily on the issue of safety, environmental and economic issues.
